Quality Assurance Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Testing Analyst for a 6-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work in-person at the office, 3 days per week. During the End-to-End testing and User Acceptance Testing, onsite requirement will be up to 5 days per week. Hours are fixed at 7.15 hours a day / 36.25 hours/ week. 

Role Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Testing Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP implementation. This role oversees testing activities across Finance, Supply Chain, HR/Payroll, and integrated enterprise systems. The Senior QA Tester validates end to end business processes, data migration, security roles, integrations, and reporting to ensure solution quality from design through go live and hypercare.

Technical Skills
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) across Finance and Supply Chain modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP testing cycles including SIT, E2E, UAT, Regression, Security Role Testing, and Reporting Validation.
  • Experience validating data migration, data entities, Data Management Framework processes, and reconciliations.
  • D365 Integration testing with enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Student Information System, banking interfaces, and Azure Logic Apps/API based integrations.
  • Proficiency with test management tools, specifically Jira, Xray (test management tool integrated with JIRA), Azure DevOps, for test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial processes including GL, AP/AR, Budgeting, Procurement, Project Accounting, Asset Management, and Cash & Bank.
  • Ability to review and validate operational and financial reports (e.g., trial balance, AP/AR aging, budget vs actuals).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 8 -10+ years of QA experience, including 5+ years in ERP D365 F&O environment.
  • Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations, including full testing lifecycle from planning to go live.
  • Solid understanding of Finance and Supply Chain business processes.
  • Experience validating integrations and working with cross system data flows.
  • Post secondary education in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ISTQB or similar testing certification is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills for partnering with business SMEs, developers, analysts, and project leadership.
  • Ability to lead testing workstreams and coordinate cross functional teams during test cycles.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple testing phases, priorities, and daily reporting requirements.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and able to work in a fast paced project environment with shifting demands.
  • Ownership mindset with focus on solution quality, traceability, and meeting defined entry/exit criteria.
