Business Analyst
We are looking for a Cyber Business Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This position is 100% onsite in downtown Calgary. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role. The ideal candidate will be able to start before December 1, 2025.

Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Business Analyst with a strong focus on project delivery to support the planning and execution of cybersecurity initiatives. This role will work closely with project managers, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively, securely, and in alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for cybersecurity projects.
  • Support the full project lifecycle from initiation through delivery
  • Comfortable with being impacted by change (priorities changed, order of execution changes, scope change)
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and other test phases.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Track and report on testing progress, defects, and remediation efforts.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements, process flows, test results, and change logs
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis and project delivery in cybersecurity or IT.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas industry operations, including IT/OT integration, regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or cybersecurity credentials are a plus.
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional.
  • Previous experience with Cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in risk management or previous direct exposure to risk management.
  • Experience of user acceptance testing of computer applications.
